K&E 4058 --- 10" Box Wood Mannheim Slide Rule with Original Box

This version of the 4058 was produced from 1915 through about 1930. The cursor is made of celluloid. The box is a simple cardboard box with printing directly on it. Notice that the model number is wedged in between the B and C marks on the left end on the rule. The conversion charts on the rear have no title or company name with them as with later 4058s. The L scale counts from the right increasing to the left.
